  • Squarespace tutorial included, so you are able to easily maintain your site on your own!

Branding + Web Design Process


Step 1 Once your design project is booked and 50% deposit is paid, we set up a 15 minute Skype call to go over the details of what you are looking for with your new brand and website, and get to know each other!

Once your design project is booked and 50% deposit is paid, we set up a 15 minute Skype call to go over the details of what you are looking for with your new brand and/or website, and get to know each other!

Client Vision + Homework

Client Vision Worksheet & Pinterest Board – Here’s where you get your homework (I promise it’s not hard!) Once you have completed this, we can start the 2-week design process based on your booking date.

Brand Design

I get started on your Branding Materials (Logo options first, then sub-logo, and other collateral items) This process will ideally take 1 week, upon approval of your designs. Two sets of revisions are allowed per item.

Website Design

I start to design your website. I go right to work designing in Squarespace. I will set up the homepage, all pages requested, and incorporate a sidebar and online shop (if requested). I will implement your photos, content, and branding materials to give your site a cohesive look. This process will ideally take 1 week.

Keep Communicating

I will keep you posted of my progress on your website via email and send you a link to proof the site. Two rounds of revisions are allowed for the website. We can jump on an additional Skype call if you have any questions throughout the process, or feel free to email me with any questions.

Final Approval

Upon approval of your website design, and after your remaining balance is paid, I will transfer your domain (or add your new domain) and website to your Squarespace account. I will set up your email with G Suite if you choose that option.

Site Tutorial

I will send you a link to a tutorial that walks you through Squarespace, and how to add blog posts and other information so you are able to easily update your site yourself!

Additional FAQ's


Payment Process:

A 50% deposit is required to book your design project. Once paid, I will send you a Welcome Packet with the information you’ll need to get started on your Client Vision Worksheet & Pinterest Board. Upon approval of the brand materials and website, I will send over a final invoice to be paid in full before the transfer of your domain and final brand files are delivered to you. You will receive all of your brand design files in various file formats  (JPG, EPS (scalable vector), AI, PSD, PDF, and PNG) for you to keep on hand and use as you please. All major credit cards and PayPal accepted.

*Squarespace hosting is additional and is priced as follows – SEE HERE. Once site is approved, you can sign up for your Squarespace account and have the website transferred to you. **GSuite Email (branded email to your domain through Gmail) is additional and is priced as follows - SEE HERE.

Additional Info

All client homework, and file transfers are done via a shared folder on Dropbox. Client must provide photos and content for site before the design process begins. If you need to find stock photos to purchase for your website, I recommend Adobe StockRosemary Watson ProductionsHaute Chocolate or Creative Market.

I will provide links to the fonts I use in your logo and/or tagline. If you would like to use these in additional branding materials on our own, you can purchase them from the font creator so you can obtain the font license under your name.

Refunds

Your 50% deposit is non-refundable, and holds your booking date. Due to the nature of custom design work, refunds are not given. However, I do my best to ensure happy customers! I take client communication seriously and check in often during the design process in order to meet your needs.
